WHAT IS A TORRENT?

Torrent is a peer-peer sharing network in which the files are shared among the people throughout the world. A file in a torrent is split it into number of pieces and these pieces are shared by other people who already have downloaded the file. Those who have already downloaded the files are called seeders and those who are downloading the files are called peers. The more number of seeds the better is the torrent.

 

HOW TO DOWNLOAD A TORRENT?

Torrent can be download by special peer to peer sharing protocols The two famous peer to peer sharing protocols are

 

1. utorrent
2. Bittorrent

 

PROCEDURE FOR DOWNLOADING TORRENTS USING UTORRENT

1. Go to http://www.utorrent.com/
2. On The homepage you will find the download button click to download it
3. Then install the software using the setup file you downloaded
4. U will have a screen like this





5. Now go to http://torrentz.eu/
6. In the search box type in the file u want
7. Then you will get many links for search
8. Click on any link and u another page will open in which u have many links .The best links are thepiratebay.org,h33t.com,1337x.org
9. Click on the any of the links presented and click download torrent in that page
10. Then double click the downloaded torrent file u will see a page like this





11. Click on ok and the torrent gets downloaded
12. The same implies to bittorrent too.....jst a change in software http://www.bittorrent.com/
